But because there's no pain, people think the problem is solved and they unknowingly neglect the situation, the disc damage progresses, and the sciatica eventually returns, and the condition of the disc deteriorates.
Because this [pain - treatment - no pain - neglect - pain] cycle continues repeatedly, the problem becomes worse and worse, with symptoms lasting longer and getting more severe each time.
For many, the end result of this cycle is chronic severe pain and disability.
